AI First Steps - Python Programming

Requirements

• Prerequisites: None.

• Ages: 12-14, 15-18.

  • Age 11 is considered for advanced students with algebra and computer proficiency (permission required).

• Hardware/Software: Computer with internet connection good enough for Zoom.

Dates

• AI First Steps - Python Programming meets July 6-10 on Zoom from 9:00am-12:30pm, PT, weekdays.

  • This is the first week of our popular summer program. Click on Data Science - The AI Journey for multi-week discounts.

Class

• All 2026 interactive lectures will be taught live online by program director Corey Wade with senior instructors supporting.

• Cohorts will be led by data science instructors with support staff providing 1-1 help as needed.

• Information on coding background will be collected via survey as part of the enrollment process to place students in the right cohort.
