Berkeley Coding Academy teaches 1-1 classes in Python, Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI. Our general curriculum includes a deep focus on personal projects. You tell us what you know and what interests you, then we map out a course of study together. All students benefit from building a close-working relationship with a Data Science mentor.

No experience is required. If you don’t know anything, then we start at the beginning. We love working with new coders! If you are already advanced, we meet you where you are and move on to new terrain.

The amount of work between sessions varies and is agreed upon between the student and instructor. We provide an extensive 4K BCA video library, PDF lesson guidelines, lecture slides, and Colab Notebooks. Problem sets are included for our Python curriculum. Students may also join the BCA Slack channel to supplement the learning process.

All 1-1 classes include a final project in a Colab Notebook. Google slides or science reports may also be included. Upon completion of the class, students receive a blockchain-authenticated certificate with a permanent link and hashtag showcasing their work. Past projects have included predicting droughts, creating sports statistics, determining the probability of COVID, classifying stellar objects, predicting heart disease, and more. There are no limits.

All Berkeley Coding Academy programs are 100% online. All you need to join is a decent internet connection, and an email address.

After registering, we will reach out via email to schedule a first meeting. During the school year, many students choose 1 or 2 hours of class per week. Over the summer, more frequent meetings are common.
